Becka Fosse, now Mrs. Tad Huntington Quade, celebrates her return from a six month honeymoon in Europe and her twenty-first
birthday by announcing her intention of becoming a Suffragette to her tolerant young husband’s amusement,
who assumes she’ll ‘grow out it’ once they start a family. Leading her to adventures in places where a self
respecting ally cat wouldn’t go as she clashed with the prevailing mindset against people of color, not unlike the hostility
and scorn she encountered for Native American in her youth but with a far greater risk to life and limb as the secrets are
exposed that were never meant to be revealed in public!
