With powerful hopes and high expectations, an extended Black Family of twins married to
twins leave behind their lives and careers in Chicago for the opportunity to open up and run a Sea Mammal Research and Rescue
Station in the Monterey Bay region northern California only to arrive and find the project has been canceled when a suspicious
fire destroys the lumber and other supplies before a full
examination can be made for quality purchased and received and the local Mayor just as suddenly disappears in a puff of smoke
with the allocated funds which should have completed the project. When they arrive at the house included as part of the compensation
they find the only working bathroom occupied by a seal about to give birth while their simple minded landlord is torn between
helping them and helping "mommy" in her first birthing.
The Townspeople however are just as determined not to lose them or this opportunity to make a difference and a bond
is forged that will spread over several generations, not merely for a single summer's view.
